Dental Team – Plano, TX
Friendly Staff That Wants to Know You Better!
At River Bend Dental, you’ll have a small, familiar team to greet you at every visit. We care about forming real relationships with our patients; our hygienists are particularly good about remembering the details of everyone who visits us, even to the point of knowing their birthdays. The brief biographies below can give you your first introduction to our team. We’re looking forward to meeting you for real at your first appointment, so give us a call today!
Bertha, Dental Practice Administrator
Bertha has a wide range of dental experience spanning 15 years and has been with our dental office since 2020. She started her career in California as a dental assistant and got her certification through Bryman College. She later moved to Florida and learned the administration side of dentistry. In the last 10 years she has been working as an insurance coordinator & treatment coordinator. For her the job is all about helping our patients in whatever way she can to ensure they get everything they need when they visit us. On the weekends, you’ll most likely find Bertha watching Movies, listening to music, reading, or snuggling with her cat, Samantha. She also likes to travel, particularly to Disney parks, and she would go every day if she could!
Bailey, Registered Dental Hygienist
Bailey, who joined the team in 2021, says that the best part of her job is developing relationships with our patients and getting updated on their lives whenever they come in for a visit. She is from Nashville, TN and graduated with her bachelors from Western Kentucky University in 2016. In her free time, Bailey enjoys traveling, sporting events, and attending country music concerts. She also volunteers at her church and has gone on several mission trips.
Bri, Registered Dental Hygienist
Bri joined us in 2021, and she brings almost a decade of experience to our dental office. She loves that her job involves meeting and connecting with wonderful patients while enabling them to improve their oral health. She completed her dental hygiene training through Salt Lake Community College where she earned The Golden Scaler Award for outstanding clinical skills.
Bri comes from a large family with six children, and today, she and her husband are the proud parents of two sweet dogs. When Bri isn’t taking them to parks, she likes to go to dance classes and lift weights. She and her husband are also big foodies and would love to hear your recommendations!
Marsie, Front Office/Hygiene Coordinator
Raised in Chicago, IL, Marsie has nearly a decade of experience in the field of dentistry. She attended a college in Alaska and earned much of her skills and expertise on-the-job. Today, she works in the front helping schedule patients for the day while also helping to manage their hygiene appointments. The best part about her job is working with an amazing team that she can trust.
Outside the office, Marsie is a mother of two and also has two pets, Ace and Nova. She also owns a Salon and does hair on the weekends. In her free time, she enjoys building things in her wood shop. An amazing fun fact about her: she’s traveled to over 15 countries and plans to visit at least 50 within the next 10 years!
Ivette, Dental Assistant
From Garland, TX, Ivette has been working in the dental field for almost a decade. She’s performed dental administrative work for five years and studied at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston to become a Registered Dental Assistant. She’s also certified in coronal polishing, pit & fissure sealant, and nitrous oxide. Her favorite part of the job is building connections with our patients.
In her free time, Ivette enjoys hanging out with her 3 dogs—Josephine, Via, and Texas. Her favorite hobbies include listening to music, going to concerts, and working on her 1994 Ford Lightning. One interesting thing about her: she loves learning about and working on cars and trucks!
